Public Relations &
Social Media

Shannon Little channels her passion for Memphis and its hospitality scene to rep her city and the people who make it great. From a vibrant social media plan to a rockin’ media campaign, she specializes in helping restaurants, attractions, and non-profits tell their story and showcase their unique personality. 10 years of local restaurant experience and 6 years of public relations experience allow Shannon to bring a truly unique, creative perspective to the Memphis service industry.

Prior to taking the leap into forming a business of her own, Shannon was the Marketing and Events Coordinator for Huey’s Restaurants, where she developed and implemented the Communications Strategy for the restaurant group. These tasks included web management, social media strategy, media relations, restaurant openings, retail marketing, advertising, project management, menu design, community relations, event planning, promotional events, in-store communication, and more. During this time, she also began her love for freelancing on the side.

In addition to her passion for her work, Shannon is passionate about her community. She enjoys working on projects for non-profits such as Levitt Shell, Leadership Memphis, Memphis Heritage, Madison Avenue Business Association, Restore Corps, and East Buntyn ArtWalk.

Shannon graduated suma cum laude from University of Memphis with both a Bachelor of Arts and Master of Arts in Communication, concentrating on Community Relations and Business Management.

You will find her to be not only an expert in her field, but very interactive, intuitive, and innovative in her approach to strategy and analysis.  Thank you, Shannon, for not only taking care of this important  aspect of our business, but consistently making us look professional and appealing.

I’ve know Shannon during two of my assignments at the Memphis Convention & Visitors Bureau. When I was director of membership services for the MCVB, Shannon was an active and involved partner who represented the Huey’s Restaurant chain.  At that time, I found her to be a great representative for her employer.   Currently, I serve as executive director for a nonprofit subsidiary of the MCVB and am happy to count on Shannon as a member of my Welcome to Memphis Advisory Committee. I am also, now, a client of Shannon’s. In all business transactions, I’ve found her to be very informed, innovative and quick to respond. She has brought a fresh, new intelligence to creating on-the-mark solutions for the challenges I’m facing.  I feel Shannon is a friend, and I am certain she is a terrific resource.  I strongly recommend her.

Shannon has done an excellent job of coordinating the social media for Huey's and keeping it up to date and lively. Engaging friends and fans with fun and interesting items for Huey's, Shannon has given Huey's on line presence a fresh appeal.

Our small business literally needed a boost in social media activity.  We found it with Shannon Little and her Marketing, Public Relations, Branding, and Events business.  Her services encompass everything you need from start to finish in every platform you want to be involved with.  It’s so much more comprehensive than an owner trying to do it themselves or an employee who may be only partially devoted to social media.

— Vickie Blevins, James Middleton Jewelers

I have been impressed with Shannon Little ever since we started serving on a committee together. Shortly after, I hired her to take care of my social media needs for The Bar-B-Q Shop. She manages our Facebook, Twitter, & Instagram pages. Shannon really keeps us in touch with our customers & their experiences. She has really enhanced The Bar-B-Q Shop's social media presence.

I have worked with Shannon on events for Wings Cancer Foundation over the last few years. Not only does she have her teams well organized and prepared for our events, but she has also been a great social media partner. She is continually sharing our story throughout the year and not just about our events. She understands the need to keep the conversation going. Also, her love of Memphis and all it has to offer is undeniable.
