Market Share: Highland Row Off the Market, New Overton Square Concept

A new concept store launched in Overton Square on Friday. The Attic, formerly a women’s boutique, is transforming its 1,200-square-foot space to feature up to 15 small business vendors, according to a Nov. 24 news release.

The current vendors are Custom Memphis Graphics, Denim and Pearls Apparel, Branigan Brooke, Found and Fitted Gifts and Black Tape Designer Fashion. They are set to sell "everything from clothing and accessories to handmade housewares and gifts," the release said.

The Attic, which first opened in September 2013, is co-owned by Alexandra and Benjamin Scharff, who also own Adel Amour cosmetics, The Ivory Closet and IronJaw Dental Labs.

“I really wanted to highlight small businesses and find a way for them to gain exposure,” Scharff said in the release.
