42 arrested in TBI human trafficking sting operation in Memphis

The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation held a news conference Friday morning discussing 42 human trafficking arrests.

The TBI said two female human trafficking juvenile victims were rescued during a sting.

They said 475 men contacted undercover officers in a three day sting operation. 38 men and four women were arrested.

This was the largest of eight human trafficking stings done in Tennessee. 522 people responded to an online ad from undercover agents.

FOX13 learned now former MATA CEO Ron Garrison was arrested and charged with patronizing a prostitute. He resigned from his position.
