The best of Texas barbecue invades Memphis, Margo Price’s surprise EP and more

Memphis is still a pork town, but it seems like brisket is a lot more common on Memphis barbecue menus than it used to be. I still don’t order it much here -- I want to maximize my barbecue meals -- but I’ve heard good things about the brisket at Bar-B-Q Shop, One & Only and Tops, among other places. When I get brisket in Memphis, it’s usually at the Rendezvous concession at FedExForum. Rendezvous is known for dry rub ribs, but the brisket might be the low-key MVP, and the Rendezvous brisket plate is the best concession meal you’ll find at the Forum.
