MEMPHIS, TN (WMC) - As couples get ready to celebrate Valentine’s Day with dinner, local restaurants are preparing.
Two local restaurant owners say they both have got their hands full.
Some people were still making reservations Thursday afternoon.
Being a part of peoples Valentine’s Day is something owners Michael Patrick and Kelly English say they enjoy.
“People calling to make sure reservations were made that they said they had made that maybe weren’t made,” Patrick said.
Patrick owns Rizzo’s, which is located at 409 South Main and is Memphis’ first food hall in downtown.
Chef Kelly English owns Iris and Second Line just down the street.
“It’s really neat for people to look back on their lives and say, you know what, remember when we went to restaurant Iris on our first date or we met at Second Line,” Kelly said.
