BACKGROUND
After years of working during the day and freelancing on-the-side, I launched my full-time business in October 2015. I'm fortunate to work with incredible Memphis businesses every day, sharing their stories and the Memphis story overall. Grit. Grind. Hustle. Soul. and so much more.
Prior to taking the leap into forming a business of my own, I served as the Marketing and Events Coordinator for Huey’s Restaurants, where I developed and implemented the Communications Strategy for the restaurant group. These tasks included marketing strategy, in-store promotions, community relations, online marketing and everything in between. During this time, I also began my love my freelancing on the side. I began working with other Memphis restaurants, retail outlets and non-profits on their communication strategies, helping them to improve their customer relations and sales.
In addition to my passion for my work, I'm also passionate about my community. I have enjoyed working on projects for non-profits such as Levitt Shell, Leadership Memphis, Memphis Heritage, Madison Avenue Business Association, Restore Corps, and East Buntyn ArtWalk.
I graduated suma cum laude from University of Memphis with both a Bachelor of Arts and Master of Arts in Communication, concentrating on Community Relations and Business Management. Go Tigers Go!
My education, experience and training have all led me to what a truly enjoy doing: Supporting the Memphis small business scene and our city overall. I Choose901. I Love Memphis. I Grit-n-Grind.
team
Teamwork makes the dream work, as they say. I often partner with other contractors to both provide a comprehensive marketing package and consistent, reliable work for each client. Whereas I am the client liaison and strategist, a team of talented and dedicated individuals assist me in executing campaigns on a regular basis.
