It wasn’t that long ago, maybe a decade, that most Mexican food you found in the states was some variation on a national chain doing nachos. Not anymore. Babalu Tacos & Tapas serves, obviously, tacos and tapas, as well as salads, tortas, table-side prepared guacamole. Oh, and the drinks are killer. There’s a patio that wraps around the building that is dog-friendly, but make sure you bring a leash.
