Haunted Maze at Mid-South Maze
Oct. 4-5, 11-12, 18-19, 25-26, 31, 7 – 10 PM

On Fridays and Saturdays after 7 PM, the ghouls and goblins take over the maze at the Agricenter. Have fun trying to find your way out while fending off whatever’s hiding in that corn.

Shadowlands Festival of Fear & Hysteria Haunted Hayride

A horrific secret hides in the corn and woods behind Jones Orchard. This cursed land is swarming with monsters and mayhem. Can you make your way through the winding journey alive? Take on the corn maze, or get on board the Hysteria Haunted Hayride if you dare.

Monster Market 2019

The third annual Monster Market pop-up will be open all month on Main Street featuring art, apparel, and housewares from over 70 makers. Swing by the
Grand Opening Celebration on October 5th and enjoy spooky cocktails (both boooozy and non-alcoholic), freaky treats, and projected horror movies while you shop!

The Parting Paranormal Pop-Up Tour + Bar & Lounge
Oct. 11 – Oct. 19

Something wicked lurks below the Evergreen Theatre and this Paranormal Popup puts you right on the path of danger!

When the New Madrid earthquakes of 1811 occurred a mysterious sinkhole appeared at 1705 Poplar Ave. Reports of apparitions and strange creatures lurking in the area pre-date any human structure. The Ritz theatre, built over the sinkhole in 1927 brought the escape of the movies, but the glitz and glamour would quickly turn sinister. Visitors of THE PARTING are invited on an unusual and creepy encounter with the macabre and menacing inhabitants of the Evergreen Theatre.

Everyone’s favorite SPOOKtacular event is back for SEVEN nights of fright! Le Bonheur Zoo Boo happens the last two weekends of October. This event features candy stations and hayrides, straw mazes, and magic shows, plus so much more! Zoo Boo is fun for ghosts and goblins of all ages.

Boo-ingo & Costume Contest
Oct. 24 – 29

Make your way to bingo at one of four locations this month and get an extra card for wearing your costume. Prizes for Best Costume are up for grabs.

Hocus Pocus Trivia in Memphis
Wednesday, Oct. 9 & Tuesday, Oct. 29

Get ready for Halloween by flying your vacuum to play ‘Hocus Pocus’ Trivia. Play at Loflin Yard, LBOE, or Rec Room on October 9th, or head to Dan McGuiness Southaven, Railgarten, Or Highland Axe & Rec on Oct. 29th.

Memphis Ghost Walk
Weekends throughout October, 8 PM

The Memphis Ghost Walk explores the macabre and dark history of downtown Memphis. Escape into the past with the entertaining and knowledgeable guides of Historical Haunts Memphis. You’ll visit sites of hauntings taken from local legends, official records, and their own professional paranormal investigations.

Princeton James presents a “Murder Mystery Dinner Theater Experience” 
Oct. 26 at 12 PM & Oct. 27 at 8 PM

The “Murder Mystery Dinner Theater Experience” is an interactive event where you could possibly be dining with a murderer. Your package will include a theatrical experience, live music, poetry, comedy, and some amazing cuisine.

HauntedWeb
Weekends through Nov. 2, plus Thursday, Oct. 10 and Thursday, Oct. 31

Crosstown Arthouse Presents Double Horror Features
Oct. 10th, 17th, & 24th

The Crosstown Arthouse Weekly Film Series is screening double horror features in October that include a silent movie accompanied by live music! Screenings will take place at The Crosstown Theater on October 10, 17th, and 24th. Doors are at 7:00 and the first film will begin at 7:30. Entry is $10 for the double feature nights. Also, as a part of the Crosstown Concourse Trunk or Treat celebration on October 31st, they’re doing a free 6:00p screening of House on Haunted Hill.

Woodruff Fontaine 3 hr Lights Out Ghost Hunt!
Friday, Oct. 4, 7:30 PM – 10:30 PM

Bring your digital audio recorder and camera to the historic Woodruff Fontaine House for an evening of learning how to set-up and conduct a paranormal investigation. CANDYLAND: A Costume Party
Saturday, Oct. 5, 7 PM

Kick-off Halloween season with a whimsical costume party at the Memphis Zoo with Chef Phillip Ashley Rix and friends. The Orpheum’s Haunted Dinner on Stage is back just in time for Halloween! See the Orpheum Theatre through a ghostly lens when you dine with the spirits and learn all about the paranormal activity that has been part of Orpheum lore since the 1920s.

The evening will include themed cocktails, a three-course meal with a variety of desserts, a self-guided tour of the backstage murals, and more.
