Friday:

Galentine’s—a sip + shop event

Launch Chiropractic and Restore Corps presents the Galentine’s—sip + shop event at 6 p.m. at 2585 Summer Ave.

A night out with your gal pals, shop local and sip some great drinks for the evening.

Tickers are $7 for general admission and $12 for the VIP Wristband that included unlimited wine.

10th Annual Wine for Wishes

Make-A-Wish Mid-South present the Annual Wine For Wishes at 6:30 p.m. at 149 Monroe Ave.

There will be wines, food, live music and a silent auction, all to benefit local children with critical illnesses.

Young at Art’s Roaring 20’s Party

Dixon Gallery and Garden, plus The Dixon’s Young at Art presents Young at Art’s Roaring 20’s Party at 7 p.m. at 4339 Park Ave.

The party, of course, is inspired by the roaring 20’s with swing dancing, silent disco, art, hors d’oeuvres and drinks.

TEDx Memphis

Memphis will be hosting the TEDx Memphis at 9 a.m. at the Crosstown Concourse.

Memphis Civitan Frosty 5K presents a 5K in Overton Park at 2080 Poplar Ave at 9 a.m.

The 5K will celebrate and support children and adults with special needs.

15th Annual Tree Planting

Wolf River Conservancy presents the annual tree planting at 10 a.m. at 6903 Great View Drive North.

This will be the largest volunteer event.

The goal is to pot or plant over 5,200 native tree seedlings! These trees will be used to restore habitats along the Wolf River and within Shelby Farms Park.

Railgarten presents Mardi Gras at 6 p.m. at 2166 Central Ave.

Loflin Yard presents the Mardi Gras Bar Crawl at 6 p.m. at 7 W. Carolina Ave.

This event includes free beads, NOLA style drinks and food.

Mollie Fountaine’s presents the 80s versus 90s on 10 p.m. at 679 Adams Ave.

Two DJs will face off with a battle of the best 80s and 90s music.

Sunday:

Soup Sunday 2020

Youth Villages presents Soup Sunday 2020 at the FedEx Forum at 11 a.m.

You will get to sample soups, breads, and desserts from more than 50 of the best restaurants and eateries Memphis has to offer.

All proceeds will go to a mentoring program that pairs 200 adult mentors with young people across Tennessee.
